Nigerian but American based rapper, Wale has disclosed news that will probably excite his fans especially those from Ghana.
The rapper has dropped hints of appearing in Ghana this year. He disclosed this via a tweet where he stated that “I have to go to Ghana this year”
With the Ghanaian government launching the “Year of Return Ghana 2019” initiative which is a major landmark marketing campaign targeting the African – American and Diaspora Market to mark 400 years of the first enslaved African arriving in Jamestown Virginia. The initiative has seen popular Blacks such as popular US TV Show Host, Steve Harvey visit the country.
However, Wale’s probable visit may not be attributed to this but it’s still good news to those in the Ghanaian entertainment fraternity as it could lead to possible music collaborations with some Ghanaian artistes.
Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, better known by his stage name Wale, is an American rapper. He first rose to prominence in 2006, when his song “Dig Dug” became popular in his hometown.
Wale recently dropped a music video titled “On Chill” in which he featured American singer, Jeremih.
