Tory Lanez set to be charged with assault over Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting incident

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is considering charging Tory Lanez with felony assault with a firearm after reports that the rapper is the one who shot Megan Thee Stallion in the feet.

It would be recalled cops were called to a scene in Hollywood Hills some weeks ago

where a shooting had just taken place, when they arrived they found

Megan Thee Stallion bleeding from a gunshot wound, and Tory Lanez allegedly

in possession of a firearm.

At the time, Lanez was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon but was not

charged with any crimes associated to shooting.

According to multiple reports, the L.A.D.A has asked Los Angeles Police Department

to further investigate the incident after reports surfaced that the rapper may have

been one to pull the trigger in a shooting that left Megan Thee Stallion hospitalized

with gunshot wounds.

A spokesperson for the D.A’s office said they had been presented an investigation

for “felony assault with a semi-automatic firearm and personal use of a firearm” but

on added on, “July 24 prosecutors asked law enforcement for further investigation

before making a filing decision.”

In other words, it’s unclear if prosecutors have all the information they need to

secure a conviction against Lanez for the shooting.

The release of the investigation information comes on the heels of Megan Thee Stallion sharing graphic photos of the damage the bullets did to her feet.
