Nigerian female singer and songwriter, Simi have urged EndSars protesters not to appoint representatives that will sit in a meeting with the Federal Government.
The whole country have been rocked with massive protest in the past few days
as Nigerian youths have all taken to the street to protest against some injustice
done to them by men of the Nigerian Police Force.
Top personalities in all walk of life have also made sure the protests reach the
necessary authorities as they’ve joined in voicing out their frustrations.
Simi have become one of the most prominent speaker among the celebrities
in the entertainment industry and she does not look like someone that will stop
voicing out her opinion.
With the Federal Government requesting to meet with some representatives of youths
in their fight against police brutality, Simi have urged EndSars protesters not toake
any step into appointing representatives.
She urged the Federal Government to speak to the whole youth and not speak to a set of appointed representatives.
Simi noted that the Federal Government should organise a press conference and
address the whole nation as youths are being affected by the situation of things
in a different way.
