So who wouldn’t be glad his/her art work of a celebrity is acquired in a huge gallery, won’t you be glad too…. A budding artist Tyler Mitchell has expressed his joy at witnessing one of his artworks being acquired for public exhibition.
Sometime last year the young artist made a renowned work on music diva Beyonce, (seen below), and the piece is now gaining attraction from a prestigious national gallery.
He wrote on his twitter page: “A year ago today we broke the flood gates open. Now I’m glad to share this picture is being acquired into the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.”
