Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, have tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
This sad news was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the state governor on
New Media, Gawat Jubril via a post on Twitter this morning August 24.
Gawat Jubril noted that the commissioner is doing well and have not been showing
symptoms of the virus and have begin self-isolation at his home.
He tweeted:
“FLASH: The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, @ProfAkinAbayomi has tested POSITIVE to the Corona Virus … he is doing well no symptoms .. will begin 14 days self-isolation & home care immediately… continues to discharge his duty as Deputy Incident Commander.”
