Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufai has tested positive to the deadly pandemic virus, Coronavirus.
The sad news was disclosed by Nasir El Rufai himself via a video which has now
gone viral on social media platforms.
According to the Governor, he is currently in self-isolation as required by the case
management guidelines of the NCDC for a someone that is not showing symptoms.

The Kaduna State Governor has now joined the list of top Government officials across
the world to have been infected with the deadly virus.
Meanwhile, Benue state also confirmed their first case of Coronavirus some hours ago.
Governor of the state, Samuel Ortom, confirmed this to newsmen as he noted
that the index case is a lady, Susan Okpe, who recently returned from the UK.
He said she is presently undergoing treatment.
The governor said the name of the patient was disclosed so that anyone who might
have had any contact with her within the last two weeks, should come forward for
testing and isolation.
Ortom appealed to residents of the state not to stigmatise the patient, rather
support her and anyone who may have had
close contact with her.
