Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage has issued a strong warning to Nigerian youths as she urged them to stop relying on Nigerian celebrities to get things done.
#EndSars have become the new hot topic on social media for the past few days as
citizens of the country can out operatives of the force for the constant wrongdoings
which includes assaulting and extorting from innocent people.
With the proposed protest by Runtown and Falz finally taking place in the early hours
of today, Tiwa Savage joined in the movement alongside her bestie,
Toke Makinwa and some other top personalities.
Speaking at the protest, Tiwa Savage urged youths not to joke with the situation of
things as she noted that there people who have lost their loved ones due to the
atrocities made by some operatives of SARS.
She noted that youths should not wait for the celebrities before speaking up as they were not consulted before they voted for their preferred BBNAIJA housemate.
Speaking at the rally, she said:
“This is serious, this isn’t the time to joke. Nigerian youths, you guys need to wakeup, there are people out there that have lost children to this thing.
This is why they don’t take us serious, they think Nigerian youths are lazy, and all we want to do is just ‘Jaiye’. Do you want to die a joke?
You don’t have to rely on celebrities, you did not need celebrities when you guys were voting on big brother, we can all do this, we all need each other.” Tiwa said.
