Afrobeat singer and songwriter, Rema have opened up on Nigeria Health System made him lose his brother as the fight against bad governance continue in the country.
Nigeria have been a scary place for citizens in the past few days as peaceful
protesters have been attacked by hoodlums and the latest being a killing
spree that occurred in Lekki tollgate.
Peaceful protesters are being shot at by some alleged Nigerian Army men and this
has led to a lot of brouhaha in the country as a lot of public places have
been set on fire by angry mobs.
With the situation yet to be called down, Rema took to his official Twitter account to
share more details on how Nigeria Government have been failing
him for the past few years.
The award winning singer and songwriter stated via a tweet that that he lost his
brother to the bad system in the country as a surgery was done to him without
electricity but a candle light.
Rema noted that his brother bled to death as the money meant to provide proper
health care for the country is kept in another person’s account.
He tweeted:
I lost my Brother to Nigeria’s bad healthcare system, they did a surgery on him with a candle light they cut him wrongly and he bled to death. The money to provide good healthcare system is in an old man’s foreign account and they keep borrowing using our pain as their format
