Drinking is not a sin, Scripture allows you use your tithe to buy alcohol – Reno Omokri

Controversial public speaker, Reno Omokri is back again with his nuggets on social media and this time he’s talking about alcohol and how biblical it is.

Reno Omokri have always shown to Nigerians that he will not desist from

voicing out his opinion on any subject matter despite the high rate of trolling and

bashing he receives on a daily basis.

From speaking on relationship matters to political matters, there is hardly a topic

Reno Omokri has not addressed on social media and it seems Nigerians will have to

get use to it.

The talented writer and public speaker have now urged citizens of the country

who are used to drinking alcohol to continue as he noted that drinking is not a sin.

He went as far as revealing that the scripture allow people to use their tithe in buying alcohol.

Reno Omokri tweeted:

“Drinking alcohol is no sin. Drunkenness is sin. It is unscriptural to preach against alcohol. Even in heaven they drink wine (Matthew 26:29). Paul encouraged wine drinking (1 Tim 5:23). Scripture allows you use your tithe to buy alcohol (Deu 14:26)”

“With regard to my last tweet, religionists argue that if Scripture says wine, it refers to non alcoholic wine. Scriptural wine is ALCOHOLIC (John 2:10). Deut 14:26 even refers to it as STRONG DRINK. Anything done in excess, including wine, is a sin”
