Nigeria music star, Davido is set to revive the fading career of reggae dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan as he plans to feature her in his next single.
It would be recalled that Cynthia Morgan shocked the whole entertainmemt
industry when she revealed the main reason why she has been off the scene in
the past few years.
Cynthia Morgan while engaged in an Instalive chat with former Miss Globe
Nigeria, Cassandra, recalled how she lost her stage name “Cynthia Morgan”, her
VEVO account, royalties, Instagram account and other things due to the
contract she signed with her record label which was owned by Jude Okoye.
According to the singer, she had dirts on Jude Okoye and would have won if she
pushed further, but she decided at that time that it wasn’t necessary.
The talented singer who added that she became depressed thereafter and had to
relocate to Benin to save cost for treatment of an illness that almost took her life.
With top celebrities still reacting to the news, Davido have decided to learn her a
helping hand as he tend to revive her career.
Davido via a post on his Twitter handle asked Cynthia Morgan to call him as he
added by noting that he has recorded his verse and need the dancehall act to do her part.
He tweeted:
There have also been rumours that Davido plan on signing the talented singer to his
record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), a record label that already have the likes of Peruzzi, Mayorkun and other top act.
