Nigeria Federal Government has barred all government officials, including public and civil
servants, from travelling abroad.
With the outbreak of the deadly disease already having a huge impact in the economy, the
Government has decided to take more preventive measures.
The Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus announced the decision after a closed-door
meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and chairman of the committee, Boss
Mustapha, said the ban commenced immediately till further notice.
Coronavirus which was first reported in China has caused a huge calamity in the world
economy as countries across Europe and Africa are now been affected.
