Beauty queen Bhasha Mukherjee, who was crowned Miss England in 2019, has returned to the United Kingdom from overseas charity work to continue her work as a doctor amid the coronavirus pandemic.
With the whole of UK currently in isolation as major parts of the city are rocked with
the deadly virus, Mukherjee have decided to join in the fight.
Beauty Queen, Mukherjee was doing humanitarian work in India when she began receiving messages
from former colleagues at her old hospital in England about the worsening
coronavirus situation back home.
Delighted on how the whole word are joining hands together in fighting the pandemic virus, she said:
“It was incredible the way the whole world was celebrating all key workers, and I wanted to be one of those, and I knew I could help.”
Death tolls in United Kingdom have increased dramatically with more than 900
people being reported to have died from coronavirus in hospitals just two days ago.
The total number of death in United Kingdom has now surpassed 7,097 with
the country one of the most affected European nation.
European countries such like Italy and Spain have also been hit by the pandemic disease which has cause the breakdown of major activities in the region.
